The new Simonne-Mathieu tennis court

Greenhouses on the Simonne-Mathieu court

The new Simonne-Mathieu tennis court is surrounded by openwork bleachers on all four sides, made up of slender metal porticoes with glass risers.

Semi-buried, it is surrounded by four exhibition greenhouses that can be visited by the public and are designed to house the exotic plants of the Paris Botanical Gardens. A real research and development challenge, the light, transparent steel structure of the greenhouses and their complex geometry due to the double tiling of insulating glass on specially designed aluminium profiles with thermal breaks are the result of original, innovative design work.
