TWO RECONSTRUCTION OBJECTIVES
Commissioned in 1972, the plant had grown old, and no longer met the latest regulations in terms of disposal into the Loire. The two main objectives of this reconstruction were technical performance (membrane technology) and blending into the countryside.
Very special attention was paid to the quality and compactness of the technologies used to make the plant as discrete as possible. It covers three floors and is topped by an irregular, multi-section green roof to "mimic" its surroundings.
