As part of the redevelopment of Lorient station and the creation of a multimodal interchange, ACML is leading a consortium with VIRY to create the façades.
The project emphasises transparency, with more than 2,155 m² of glazed facades, and the creation of concrete sunbreakers offering a contemporary look.
ACML will be responsible for the glazed façades, metal frames, timber façades and concrete brise-soleil (BFUP). The façades are made of 11-metre-high steel and aluminium curtain walls finished with powder coating and timber cladding.
The south facade is completed by a set of sunbreakers and slatted fences (BFUP) made of white cement fibre-reinforced architectural concrete.
Work will start in early 2016 and be completed in early 2018.
