A photovoltaic power plant in a car park

The largest photovoltaic power plant in France located on a car park was built by Fayat Entreprise TP and Vilquin on the Bordeaux exhibition centre car park.

The 20-hectare car park was covered with 8 hectares of photovoltaic panels.

In 10 months, FAYAT ENTREPRISE TP installed all the dry networks (40,000 lm of ducts, 4,060 lm of trenches and 155 draw-pit chambers), built footpaths, repaired the car park covering, added ground markings and signs, and landscaped the site.

The company was selected as general contractor.

The 1,150 foundation piles were sub-contracted to FRANKI FONDATIONS.

VILQUIN set up all the awning supports (1,300 tonnes of steel) and laid all the cables in only 4 months.

Customer: EDF Energies Nouvelles France
