NEW STADIUM IN BORDEAUX
In a 50% consortium with Vinci, FAYAT has won the partnership contract for the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the new Bordeaux stadium. This is the largest Public-Private Partnership ever won by the Group.
Designed, like the Allianz Arena in Munich and the Olympic Stadium in Beijing, by the architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron, the 42,000-seat stadium combines pure classicism and transparency, with tall columns supporting the "bowl" of stands.
A STADIUM FOR SPORT AND CULTURE
Delivered in 2015 with a view to the 2016 European Cup, the stadium, which will be home to the Girondins de Bordeaux football team, will be used for both sport (football, rugby, tennis, etc.) and culture (concerts, operas, musicals, etc.).
